The smallBMS can replace the VE.Bus BMS V2 in several applications, but it is not suitable for use with VE.Bus MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers as it lacks a VE.Bus interface. The smallBMS is designed for use with Victron Smart LiFePo4 batteries with M8 circular connectors and has two outputs, similar to the VE.Bus BMS V2.

I needed a MK3-USB-C programming cable urgently to program my new Quattro and looked up local Victron vendors. I found Voltaico online and gave them a call just before the end of the workday.
