Victron Energy Skylla-IP65 24/35(3) 120V/240V Battery Charger

This powerful, waterproof, and intelligent battery charger features a 7-stage adaptive charge algorithm, making it suitable for a wide range of battery types and chemistries, including a dedicated Lithium-ion charge algorithm. With a wide range universal input voltage, it maintains full output power regardless of location. The IP65 rating makes it ideal for marine, mobile, and industrial applications, able to withstand heat, humidity, and salt air. Both models are available in two versions: one with 3 full-rated outputs, and another with 1 full-rated output plus an isolated 3A trickle charge output for a starter battery.

Skylla-IP65 (1+1)

• Outputs: Two isolated outputs to charge two battery banks.
• Second Output: Limited to approximately 3 A with a slightly lower voltage, intended for topping up a starter battery.

Skylla-IP65 (3)

• Outputs: Three isolated outputs, each capable of supplying the full rated output current to charge three battery banks.

IP65 Protection

• Durability: Steel epoxy powder-coated case resists heat, humidity, and salt air.
• Circuit Protection: Circuit boards are coated with acrylic for maximum corrosion resistance.
• Temperature Sensors: Ensure components operate within limits, reducing output current if needed.

LCD Display

• Functionality: Provides status monitoring and allows easy adaptation of the charge algorithm to suit different batteries and usage conditions.

CAN-bus Interface (NMEA2000)

• Connectivity: Connects to a CAN-bus network, Skylla-i Control panel, or Color Control digital display.
• Parallel Operation: Multiple chargers can be synchronized and connected in parallel using RJ45 UTP cables.

Advanced Charging Features

• Variable Absorption Time: Adjusts absorption time based on the depth of discharge to prevent overcharging.
• BatterySafe Mode: Limits voltage increase rate to prevent excessive gassing during high-current charging.
• Storage Mode: Reduces float voltage to minimize gassing and corrosion when the battery is not in use, with a weekly refresh to prevent stratification and sulphation.
• Temperature Compensation: Automatically decreases charge voltage as battery temperature increases to extend battery life.
• Voltage Sense: Compensates for voltage loss due to cable resistance, ensuring the battery receives the correct charge voltage.
• Power Supply Use: Can function as a power supply with stabilized output voltage when batteries or capacitors are not available.
