Tigo Energy TS4-A-F Rapid Shutdown Module

The Tigo Energy TS4-A-F Fire Module adds to your existing or new solar panels, providing you with code compliant rapid shutdown capabilities for your solar photovoltaic system. One TS4-A-F accepts one solar panel.

MLPE, or Module Level Power Electronics, allow you to control and monitor your solar panels at the array level before the energy produced reaches any other components in the system.

Tigo’s TS4 series offer optimization, monitoring, and rapid shutdown features for your solar panels. A differentiation of the TS4 platform when compared with other optimizers and MLPE modules in the market is their compatibility with a wide range of inverter manufacturers. Here is a list of the available MLPE modules and when to use them.

TS4-A-O Optimization
When you wish to optimize your solar production, recommended when shading is present or for complex roof layouts. For PV panels up to 700W.

TS4-A-S Safety
When optimization is not critical, but panel-level monitoring and rapid shutdown features are required. For PV panels up to 700W.

TS4-A-M Monitoring
When only precise production monitoring is needed.

TS4-A-F Rapid Shutdown
When a fully compliant Rapid Shutdown photovoltaic system is required. 1 PV panel per TS4 module.

TS4-A-2F Rapid Shutdown Dual
When a fully compliant Rapid Shutdown photovoltaic system is required. 2 PV panels per TS4 module.

For a complete TS4 supported system, connect a TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, or TS4-A-M module to each solar panel in the array. It is possible to combine different TS4 models in the same system. Then install the CAA and your TAP (RSS transmitter for TS4-A-F and TS4-A-2F) to enable the TS4 modules to communicate with Tigo’s monitoring platform. Now you can monitor and manage your solar system through Tigo’s Energy Intelligence monitoring portal.
