Magnum Energy PT 100: Advanced MPPT Charge Controller

The Magnum Energy PT 100 Charge Controller delivers 100 Amps of charging current. With a maximum output power of 6600W, it is one of the largest MPPT charge controllers available today. It comes with a 5-year warranty in parts and labor.

The PT-100 controllers will limit the output to 100 Amps allowing for oversized solar arrays. This type of setup will guarantee that there will be enough solar power during periods of lower irradiation, such as winter months, cloudly afternoons, or overcast mornings.

The PT-100 MPPT charge controller comes with an external temperature sensor to compensate for drastic temperature changes. It also includes built-in PV ground fault detection and interruption (GFDI) and integrated arc-fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) to meet the requirements of the NEC.

The front face of the Magnum Energy PT 100 features LED indicators and a large digital display showing the system performance at any given moment.

The unique wiring box of the Magnum Energy PT 100 charge controller can be installed and fully wired before mounting the charge controller unit. It is compatible with Magnum Panels and Magnum Mini Panels, and it provides access to PV and battery disconnect breakers.

Use the ME-ARC Remote or ME-ARTR Router to go over the menu settings of the PT-100 controller. You will also find the setting for the programmable auxiliary relay for device control. The controller’s internal data logging functionality keeps energy harvest information and battery data up to 255 days. Use the optional remote to display this information.
