Victron Energy Inverter/Chargers
The inverter serves as the central component and arguably the most crucial element of your power system. Both the Multiplus and Quattro models are pure sine wave inverters equipped with adaptive high-capacity battery chargers. While the standard output of the inverter is 120V AC, it offers flexibility for configuration. You have the option to stack multiple inverters to create a 240V split-phase system or configure three inverters for a 3-phase system. Furthermore, the system’s capacity can be significantly increased by connecting up to six inverters in parallel per phase.
Quattro and Multiplus inverters/chargers share numerous features. One distinguishing feature of the Quattro Inverter is its two independent AC inputs and a built-in transfer switch that can be configured with intelligent rules. For instance, these dual AC sources could be grid power and a generator, or two generators such as diesel and gas. Victron Energy inverters are designed to operate seamlessly without requiring additional configuration. However, some factory settings can be adjusted using the inverter’s DIP switches. For more extensive systems and sophisticated settings and features, VictronConnect and VictronConfig software are available.

For flooded and AGM batteries, we recommend a 50% Depth of Discharge (DOD), while for Lithium batteries, we suggest an 80% DOD.
