The SmartSolar MPPT 75/10, 75/15, 100/15 & 100/20 charge controllers from Victron gather energy from your solar panels and store it in your batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes energy harvest, driving it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time while maintaining battery health and extending its life. These charge controllers can even recharge a severely depleted battery, operating with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged.

Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)
An ultra-fast MPPT controller improves energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers, especially in changing light conditions.

Load Output
To prevent over-discharge of the battery, connect all loads to the load output. It disconnects the load when the battery reaches a pre-set voltage. Alternatively, use the intelligent battery management algorithm (Battery Life). The load output is short-circuit proof.

Battery Life: Intelligent Battery Management
If the battery isn’t fully recharged within a day, it can lead to a cycle between a partially charged and an end-of-discharge state, damaging lead-acid batteries. The Battery Life algorithm monitors the state of charge and adjusts the load disconnect level daily to ensure nearly full recharge. This process helps maintain battery health and extends its lifespan.

Internal Temperature Sensor
This sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltage based on temperature.

Optional External Battery Voltage and Temperature Sensing via Bluetooth
Use a Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor to communicate battery voltage and temperature to SmartSolar Charge Controllers.

Fully Discharged Battery Recovery Function
This function initiates charging even if the battery is at zero volts and reconnects to a fully discharged Li-ion battery with an integrated disconnect function.
