The Lynx Power In is a key component of Victron’s highly rated Lynx Distribution system. It features a positive and negative busbar with 4 connections for batteries, loads, or chargers, along with a ground connection. It is available in two versions: one with M8 busbars, and another with M10 busbars. Note that the M8 or M10 in the model number denotes the connection joints where the Lynx modules connect to each other (the busbars on the side with black/red plastic covers). It’s important to note that fuse and cable connections are always M8 in both models.

The Lynx DC Distribution System

The Lynx Distribution System is a versatile modular setup designed for DC connections, distribution, fusing, battery monitoring, and Lithium battery management. It comprises several components:

Lynx Power In: Features positive and negative busbars with four connections for batteries or DC equipment. Available in two versions with M8 or M10 busbars.
Lynx Distributor: Offers positive and negative busbars with four fused connections for batteries or DC equipment, along with fuse monitoring. Also available in two versions with M8 or M10 busbars.
Lynx Shunt VE.Can: Includes a positive busbar with space for a main system fuse and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. Equipped with VE.Can communication for monitoring and setup using a GX device.
Lynx Smart BMS: Specifically designed for use with Victron Energy Smart Lithium batteries, it features a positive busbar with a contactor driven by a battery management system (BMS) and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. Comes in a 500A model with M8 busbars or a 1000A model with M10 busbars. It offers Bluetooth communication for monitoring and setup via the VictronConnect App and VE.Can communication for monitoring with a GX device and the VRM portal.
