The Skylla-TG Chargers can operate over a wide input voltage range of 90-265 VAC without needing any adjustments and can also accept a 90-400 VDC supply. This makes them versatile for various applications. Approved for environmental category C and EMC 1, they meet the standards for equipment protected from the weather and installed on the bridge of a ship. This certification also means they comply with IEC 60945-2002 standards for protected equipment.

Victron TG Chargers include microprocessor control, the ability to be used as a power supply, a battery temperature sensor for temperature-compensated charging, and battery voltage sensing to compensate for voltage loss due to cable resistance. Standard models come with an extra output to charge a starter battery, and there are GMDSS models available with required monitoring and alarm functions.

Perfect for Any Type of Battery
• Adjustable Charge Voltage: Can be precisely adjusted for any sealed or unsealed battery system.
• Protection for Sealed Batteries: Proper charging ensures a long life, while overvoltage can cause excessive gassing and venting, leading to battery failure.

AC and DC Supply Compatibility
• Versatile Operation: Accepts both AC and DC supply, except for 3-phase input models.

Controlled Charging
• Microprocessor Control: Ensures accurate three-step charging using the IUoUo characteristic, which charges faster than other methods.

Use as a Power Supply
• Stabilized Output: Can be used as a power supply with stable output voltage if batteries or capacitors are unavailable.

Dual Outputs for 24V Models
• Two Isolated Outputs: One output for the main battery and a second, limited to 4A, for topping up a starter battery.

Temperature Compensation for Longer Battery Life
• Automatic Adjustment: Charge voltage decreases with increasing battery temperature, preventing overcharging and drying out, especially in sealed batteries.

Battery Voltage Sense
• Compensates Voltage Loss: Ensures the battery always receives the correct charge voltage despite cable resistance.
