Designed for telecom systems, the deep cycle AGM telecom series features front access terminals and a compact footprint, making them great for saving space in marine and vehicle applications. AGM, or Absorbent Glass Mat, technology absorbs the electrolyte into a glass-fiber mat between the plates. These batteries have a low self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month at 20°C, thanks to lead calcium grids and high-purity materials, allowing for long storage periods without recharge. The self-discharge rate doubles with every 10°C increase in temperature. They also have low internal resistance, allowing for very high charge and discharge rates, and offer a high cyclic life of more than 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.
